Cryolipolysis FAT FREEZE

Cryolipolysis, commonly known as fat freezing, is a revolutionary non-invasive body contouring treatment designed to eliminate stubborn fat pockets. This advanced procedure targets and cools fat cells to a temperature that triggers their natural death, without harming the surrounding tissues. Over time, your body naturally processes and eliminates these dead fat cells, leaving you with a more sculpted and toned appearance.

How the Body Eliminates the Frozen Fat Cells

After the Cryolipolysis treatment, the targeted fat cells undergo a process called apoptosis, or natural cell death, due to the controlled cooling. These damaged fat cells are then recognized by the body's immune system as waste. Over the following weeks and months, the body’s lymphatic system gradually processes and removes these dead fat cells.

The lymphatic system, a crucial part of the immune system, transports the waste through the body. The fat cell remnants are filtered out by the liver and then excreted from the body through natural processes, such as urination and sweat. This gradual elimination ensures that there is no sudden burden on the body's detoxification pathways, allowing for a safe and efficient reduction of fat in the treated areas.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

ARE THE RESULTS PERMANENT?

After puberty, the body stops producing new fat cells. When a person gains or loses weight, the fat cells merely become bigger or smaller. The actual number of fat cells remains exactly the same.

With cryolipolysis, the number of fat cells within the body is reduced, so whatever fat cells you lose, you lose forever. However, your remaining fat cells can get bigger. Therefore, diet and exercise is still important to maintain any visible results.

HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED?

The number of treatments needed to see noticeable changes varies from person to person. Most clients will need on average 3 sessions per treatment area to see optimal results. Treatments should be performed at least 3 weeks apart, but no closer as the body needs time to recover.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO SEE RESULTS?

The results can be seen as early as 3 weeks after the treatment. The most dramatic results will be visible 2 to 3 months after the treatment.

IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?

Cryolipolysis, commonly known as fat freezing, is generally not considered painful, but the experience can vary from person to person. Here are some key points about the sensation and potential discomfort during the treatment:

  1. Initial Sensation: During the first few minutes of the treatment, you may feel intense cold in the targeted area. This sensation typically diminishes as the area becomes numb.

  2. Suction Feeling: The applicator used in cryolipolysis also applies suction to the skin and underlying fat. This can create a pulling or tugging sensation, which some people find uncomfortable.

  3. Treatment Duration: Once the area is numb, most people report minimal discomfort for the remainder of the treatment session, which typically lasts between 35 and 60 minutes.

  4. Post-Treatment Sensations: After the treatment, you might experience some tingling, stinging, or aching as the treated area warms up and sensation returns. This usually resolves within a few minutes to a few hours.

  5. Temporary Side Effects: Some people might experience temporary side effects such as redness, swelling, bruising, or sensitivity in the treated area. These effects are generally mild and resolve on their own within a few days to weeks.

Overall, while cryolipolysis is not typically painful, there can be some temporary discomfort associated with the cold and suction sensations during the procedure. Most people find the treatment tolerable and resume normal activities immediately afterward.
